The Colorado Avalanche blew out the Minnesota Wild to the tune of a 7-2 shellacking as they head into the bye week with 47 points, one shy of their 82-game total last year.

How did the Avalanche players grade out? Pretty damn well.

Mark Barberio (C+) –  His on-ice results were really solid at even strength but his play on Minnesota's second goal could have been quite a bit better. He sold out to block a shot really quickly and was still too far from Staal to be much of a threat for a player as good as Staal.

Jonathan Bernier (B+) – Bernier came in for an injured Varlamov two games ago and the team hasn't skipped a beat. He was very good again tonight after his shutout against Columbus. His last six appearances have shown the high level of play he's capable of when playing well.

Gabriel Bourque (A+) – Scored the game's first goal on a great finish. Was physical and effective throughout. By far the best we've seen from Bourque this season and arguably in his time as an Av.
