The Denver Nuggets fought hard at Oracle Arena Monday night. Denver hung with Golden State for the better part of four quarters but the Warriors were able to hit their free-throws down the stretch to seal a 124-114 win.
Here's how each Nuggets player performed.
Jamal Murray (B+) - Going up against one of his role models and one of the guys he looks up to in the NBA in Stephen Curry, Murray got off to a rough start but overall put together a solid performance. He finished with 21 points on 8-22 shooting, got two threes to drop and competed for the entire 42 minutes that he played. Check out what Curry told Murray after the game on BSNNuggets.com right now.
Gary Harris (A) - The steady and reliable Harris was exactly that against the Warriors. He scored 22 points on 9-18 shooting and hit 4-7 threes. Harris is shooting 38.4 percent from three which is a few percentage points down from the 42.0 percent clip he shot a year ago. Keep an eye on how Harris has started to launch from a few feet beyond the three-point line. It's a testament to his growing confidence in his jumper.
